Tell us your app version (Settings > About > Version) and your device. Never send us a sign-in code, and do not send health data unless we ask for it.

Signing in

  • Daytrove has no passwords. Enter your email address and we send you a 6-digit code.
  • The code expires after 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder.
  • Each email address can get only a few codes an hour. If you reach the limit, wait and try again.
  • Signing in with Google or Apple is coming later.

Apple Health and Health Connect

  • On Android, open Settings, find Health data and tap Connect Health Connect, then allow the data types you want. If your phone asks, install or update Health Connect first.
  • Samsung Health data appears once Samsung Health shares it with Health Connect.
  • Daytrove first reads the last 30 days from Apple Health or Health Connect.
  • On Android it then checks for new data about every 15 minutes if you allow background access. On iPhone it reads new data when you open the app.
  • To stop sharing, remove access in Health Connect on Android or in the Health app on iPhone. Data already synced stays in your account until you delete it.

Why numbers can differ from another app

  • When your phone and your watch both record the same activity, Daytrove keeps the larger source for each hour for steps, distance and energy, instead of adding them together.
  • Repeated workouts and nights are shown once.
  • Daily averages count only the days that have data.

Importing your history

Go to Settings > Data > Import history and choose your export file.

  • Apple Health: in the Health app, tap your picture, then Export All Health Data. Save export.zip to Files and choose it.
  • Google Fit: at takeout.google.com, select only Fit, create the export, and choose the downloaded zip.
  • Samsung Health: in Samsung Health settings, choose Download personal data. Zip the folder it creates, or choose one of its CSV files.

The file is read on your device. Importing the same file again adds nothing. Google Fit calorie totals and its automatic activity timeline are not imported.

Reminders

  • Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they need notifications turned on for Daytrove.

Manage your data

  • Export everything: Settings > Data > Export my data.
  • Remove an entry: swipe away a water entry or a weigh-in. To stop tracking a habit, press and hold it, then archive it.
  • Sign out everywhere: Settings > Account > Sign out everywhere.
  • Stop sharing health data: remove access in Apple Health or Health Connect.
  • Delete your account: see how to delete your account.
